When is your favourite time of day?
Eastern sunlight in the morning is mine .. I love the glow of light through the curtains and the shadows casting patterns across their surface
.. and the most exciting moment is pulling the curtains aside to see the morning light touching the world outside ..
The rays of light also fall through the window into the room and every little thing lights up
Magical little moments every morning!
This is a process and it takes time.
There is a lot that is going to happen between the first ideas that you hold in your mind and when you can open those curtains in your own architecture.
As you move through the process, remember that these are moments that you have designed your architecture for. They are what you are heading towards at the end of the day.
The beginning of the process can be exciting and full of anticipation!
Then, little things begin creeping in to make the process a little more serious.
Decisions need to be made and they can feel HUGE!
What do you do? Where do you turn? What is the best way for you? When will that approval arrive?
What’s going on with the Contractor? Why does it cost this much? Why is it taking so long?
It piles and piles and piles in.
It can get you down.
When it does, this is a reminder to remember those little things.
Take a breath.
Slow down.
Go outside and feel the breeze on your face.
Remember where you will be sitting and the little experiences of every day moments that will be special to you in your architecture.
These are the little things that ensure your architecture suits you.
Don’t forget:
The moments you build are your every day.
They are they things you experience. The things that you share.
There is SO much to talk about when it comes to finding a home that fits you, that suits your lifestyle and that is
