Preparation of a bespoke Architectural Design Brief especially for you.

This is a bespoke written document which reflects the needs, wants and values you would like to include to make architecture specific to you.

It is particularly useful to explain to yourself and someone else, such as a professional you are working with, who you are and what you are after.

How it works:

• I will need to get to know you by asking you a lot of questions.

• You will give me answers.

• I will interpret your answers into the spatial requirements for your architecture that I can show you in words and indicative images - photographs of similar spaces.

• I will deliver you an Architectural Design Brief that contains all of this information.

• You can use your Architectural Design Brief to

  • Describe what you want to other people, such as professionals you will be working with.

  • Help you find a design ‘off-the-plan’ that will suit you.

  • Remind you of what you need and what you want in your architecture as you make decisions along the way.

Included in your Architectural Design Brief

-         Questions and answers about you, your people and the architecture you wish for.

-         The spaces you wish for in your architecture.

-         The parts and materials you wish for in your architecture.

-         The services, heating, cooling, electrical, and the like that you wish for in your architecture.

-         A description of your architecture in words and images.

-         A Schedule of Accommodation listing all of the spaces that will make up your architecture with details about their size and requirements.

I do not need to visit your place to prepare this document for you. However. I would request that I meet with you once by video call or phone call.

Your bespoke document includes the following:

-         A Questionnaire for you to complete and return to me before I can commence, which tells me all about your project.

-         A request for a document or information needed from you to complete the bespoke document you request [this may or may not be required].

-         Additional questions to refine the information acquired.

-         A digital download sent to you by email of your bespoke document in pdf format
